The Basel Chamber Orchestra continues the tradition of Paul Sacher’s Basler Kammerorchester, a celebrated ensemble with which Bohuslav Martinů was closely linked. In Brno, the ensemble presents a compelling programme featuring the Polish pianist, Piotr Anderszewski, who will also hold the conductor’s baton and, as a soloist in Schumann’s famous concerto, lead the performance from the piano.
